AZBHR Dogs Available for Adoption
This page was last updated 05/09/2008 09:03 AM

Because these dogs have been entrusted to our care, we do our best to ensure a good fit with their adoptive home.  We will review the dogs available after the application has been reviewed and a home visit has been conducted.  The information gained from the home visit helps our volunteers match the most appropriate dog to your home.  We process adoption applications in the order they are received.  Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that a particular dog will be available at the time your application is processed. Prior to filling out an application, please read our Adoption Agreement

Note to homes with children: If your home has children under the age of ten, please read AZBHR's policies regarding Basset Hounds and young children.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption - No Exceptions!

Hi I'm Reno, aka Harley... Which is my former name and I cant seem to loose it. See I kick up the dirt like a Harley. And I'm really good looking like one to. But enough about a name. Really whats in a name anyway? I am 5 years old and full house trained, not even one accident. I love long walks by the lake, looking into your eyes, then drool kissing you. I also know some tricks.

Titus (#100017)

Some call me Titus, others call me Rocko. As long as you give attention, food, treats and attention in a timely manner you can call me whatever you want. I am a 5 year old stud known around the dog park as the basset with the big head. I get along with all dogs and I am indifferent towards cats. I would prefer a home with another playmate but it is not necessary, I can handle all of the attention. I am good around people of all ages but I do get a little shy around strangers.

Sweetpea (#99861)

We're so proud of Sweetpea - and of ourselves and YOU! Sweetpea is one of success stories and demonstrates how our organization is able to help dogs in need because of generous donations from people like you. Take a look at how Sweetpea looked when she came to us. She was pathetically thin, and her eyes were so sunken in and unfocused that at first we thought she was blind, plus she had a Valley Fever count that was too high to measure. This was one sick puppy! She's now an AZBHR "Angel."
