Blue is a nine year old tri colored basset hound. He came from the shelter, so I don't know much about his background. He is house broke and goes to the door when he needs to go out. He likes to go on walks a couple of times a day. He prefers not to be left alone, but if there is another dog around he is okay. He gets along great with my dog (a basset hound). He went to the vet for an upper respiratory cough and a slight limp on his right back leg, but is doing fine now and off the medication. The vet said to watch his leg and if he starts limping again he will need to go in for x-rays.

He LOVES to snuggle and be loved on. He also likes sleeping under blankets and being covered up. He is a sweet, very gentle dog. The only time he gets grumpy is if he is told to get off the couch because he will sneak up there but he gets right down. He also does not like sharing toys with other dogs. He will sleep on a dog bed, or if he is allowed on the bed, he needs steps up to them because he cannot jump up or down them.
