Hello, my name is Dora and I am about 9 years old. I came to AZBHR with a number of health issues. I had a couple of cysts removed and was spayed. I can tell you one thing, I am very glad that I have been spayed. As you can see in my photos I have had more than my share of puppies over the years. My health issues have all been addressed and taken care of.

I am a very gentle soul and would love to be someone’s special shadow and friend. I will follow you through the house as you do your chores and then cuddle up for a nice nap when you sit down. When you come home I will provide you with a loud Basset Hound song and dance as I am so happy to have my people around. I am a good girl. I am house trained, use a doggy door, get along with dogs, kids and even cats, just an all around great dog. I love to go for walks and I don’t pull too hard. I enjoy a good car ride too. I am not a fussy eater but please, don’t call me late to dinner. Don’t let my age or previous health concerns fool you, I still have quite the spring in my step and lots of love and life to give.
