Whopper is a 2-3 year old, male, red and white basset hound. He was relinquished to the rescue due to a home foreclosure. Whopper is an easy going, loving and active basset hound. He wants to be in the middle of the action and enjoys helping with the household chores. He loves to go for long walks and is learning about playing with toys. Whopper currently resides with two other dogs and a cat and gets along with them wonderfully. In the past, I do not believe he was an indoor dog. Due to this, he is working on house manners and potty training. Whopper has been with me for two weeks and has made great improvements, but needs reminders of the house rules and a potty schedule. He would benefit greatly from a training class. Whopper is a gem in the making and will make a loyal family companion.
