Dino

Dino (aka Dean) is living in Mesa, Arizona. He is a great dog, especially with people. He has protective issues when other dogs are around but is very gentle with people, especially kids. He never snaps my hand when he gets his treats. Dean takes me for a walk every evening, and all the kids want to pet "the wiener dog." A few of the neighbors call him The Chairman of the Board.

In spite of his arthritis and age, he is very energetic on walks and even runs. All I can do is hold on. He has a few different routes he takes through the neighborhood. The rest of the time though is spent on his couch or sunbathing in the backyard. Dean likes his naps. He's very vocal and talks a lot. He especially lets me hear it if he thinks I've been gone too long. He also lets me know if the sun is up and I am somehow still in bed. One of his favorite activities is helping me grill. He's a close supervisor.

Dean is a traveling dog, and has even been to Mexico (with vet papers, of course). He's international!.
