Make a DonationMonetary donations to our general rescue fund help our rescued bassets in many ways. Our primary expense for the dogs rescued is veterinary costs. Many of the dogs that we take in are rescued from shelters where they are going to be euthanized due to illness, injury or age. Most shelters do not have the facilities or funds to rehabilitate these dogs. This is one of the main reasons why rescue groups exist and work closely with shelters. While this can be very expensive at times, we believe that these dogs deserve a second chance if the quality of their lives can be improved with medical care.
