25. Are you able to foster more than one dog at a time? Yes No

25. Are you willing to house train a basset hound, if necessary? Yes No

Many foster bassets come from unknown circumstances. Even if they are normally well-behaved basset hounds, MOST have a couple accidents in the house during the adjustment period and some also might chew furniture or other items left within reach. This is a very important reality with fostering. If you have just installed new carpet or bought new furniture, there is a possibility that they might be damaged.
26. How do you feel about this?

27. Where will the dog be kept:
During the Day:
At Night:
While You're Away:

28. Please provide a personal references (preferably someone who own a dog):

A "Home Visit" by one of our volunteers is mandatory for all potential foster homes for our Basset Hounds. The home visit is not to check for housekeeping, but is meant to ensure that your home is compatible with a Basset Hound's lifestyle. We will check for indoor living and sleeping arrangements, fencing, toilet and feeding arrangements, etc.

29. Are you willing to have a home visit prior to adoption?   Yes   No
